Copywriter (Onsite)

Location: Austin, TX
Schedule: Onsite (4 days per week, Monday through Thursday)
Duration: 12-month contract, with potential to extend
Hours: Full-time (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
Compensation Range: $41.25 - $49.00/hr W2

Join our award-winning in-house creative agency as a Senior Digital Content Copywriter! In this role, you will elevate the creative output of every project you touch, crafting external and internal communications that grow client relationships and bring innovative products to market. We are looking for a financial services and investing subject matter expert who can break down complex ideas into simple, intuitive, and engaging client experiences.

We write in an "unstuffy" voice-proving that financial firms don't have to sound corporate and dry. We are humans talking to humans, and we write like it. If you are a strategically minded storyteller who thrives in a collaborative environment, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Creative Execution: Solve complex marketing problems with simple, engaging multi-channel content across video, print, websites, and social media.
• Brand Voice & Strategy: Utilize and evolve our human, "unstuffy" voice to deliver big, strategically based creative ideas that move people to action while working cleverly within brand guidelines.
• Content Optimization: Create best-in-class digital content, balancing SEO/AEO/AIO requirements with a deeply human user experience.
• Project & Relationship Management: Independently manage and juggle multiple projects at once, hitting timelines, implementing partner feedback with professionalism, and building strong relationships across account, strategy, and project management teams.
• Innovation: Utilize AI tools and content management systems (CMS) to maximize creativity and workflow efficiency.
• Presentation: Confidently pitch and sell creative ideas to marketing partners using data, client insights, and strategic reasoning.

Qualifications:

• Portfolio: Must provide a link to an online portfolio showcasing digital content and writing samples. PDFs or attachments will not be accepted.
• Experience: Proven experience as a Senior Copywriter or Content Writer, specifically acting as a financial services and investing subject matter expert.
• Digital Expertise: Strong understanding of digital content best practices, including SEO/AEO/AIO strategies and CMS capabilities.
• Technical Savvy: Experience using or exploring AI tools to drive efficiency and creative workflow.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional self-editing skills, stellar presentation abilities, and a highly collaborative, team-player attitude.
