We are seeking a Senior Creative Account Manager to serve in a critical leadership capacity dedicated to driving retail partner satisfaction by ensuring that every experience meets or surpasses expectations. In this role, you will oversee key creative and merchandising relationships, guaranteeing that all teams receive top-tier, best-in-class service while effectively championing their needs and objectives within the organization.
Operating on both a project-specific and seasonal calendar basis, you will act as the primary subject matter expert bridging the gap between business units and internal production teams. To ensure a thorough understanding of project scope, you will actively participate in all pre-production alignment meetings and orchestrate post-project reviews to capture constructive feedback for continuous improvement. Ultimately, you will optimize communication, alignment, and project productivity between business stakeholders and creative teams.
Responsibilities:
- Elevated Liaison: Serve as an escalated point of contact for designated teams and projects (while day-to-day operations are typically managed by the Producer).
- Relationship Management: Cultivate and strengthen robust partnerships with key business decision-makers through proactive, continuous communication.
- Conflict Resolution: Act as the central point of contact for issue mitigation and dispute resolution, ensuring both business and creative challenges are addressed efficiently while keeping leadership informed.
- Special Requests: Serve as the designated gatekeeper for all service inquiries falling outside standard production workflows.
- End-to-End Alignment: Maintain continuous contact with business and creative stakeholders across all project phases to facilitate seamless communication.
- Timeline Accountability: Monitor, communicate, and enforce project schedules to ensure strict adherence to deadlines.
- Project Oversight: Partner closely with delivery teams to maintain an up-to-date, high-level understanding of all active project statuses.
- Transparent Communication: Facilitate clear, bidirectional communication between business and creative teams to ensure strong representation and set accurate expectations.
- Satisfaction Check-ins: Implement routine touchpoints to measure, maintain, and elevate ongoing business satisfaction.
- Calendar Management: Build and maintain content calendars for category and homepages aligned with broader business requirements.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary mediator and guide between diverse stakeholders whenever project scopes or variables shift.
- Seasonal Tracking: Monitor category-specific seasonal business requirements to support larger creative initiatives.
- Information Flow: Analyze needs, resolve roadblocks, and cascade critical information to relevant leadership through appropriate communication channels.
- Process Optimization: Author and document standardized protocols and operational routines to deliver a premium client experience.
- Workflow Adoption: Roll out and communicate updated workflows, tools, and operational developments to the broader team.
- Team Onboarding: Partner with local teams to onboard new talent, covering workflow education, team introductions, cross-functional coordination, and documentation maintenance.
- Resource Evaluation: Provide strategic feedback to local management regarding staffing adequacy on projects, offering recommendations for adjustments as needed.
- Quality Assurance: Guarantee that all workflows and procedures are executed flawlessly and meet established quality benchmarks.
- Creative Auditing: Collaborate with Creative Directors to review final imagery and deliverables, ensuring they match or exceed quality standards and business goals.
- Deliverable Review: Personally vet major, non-standard deliverables (including strategic briefs, style guides, test assets, and marketing collateral) prior to final delivery.
- Account Growth: Expand organizational footprint and visibility by deepening current relationships and fostering new strategic connections.
- Business Development: Proactively identify and pursue new avenues for business growth, expansion, or cross-functional support.
- Capability Ambassadorship: Maintain an in-depth understanding of the creative team's full suite of capabilities and services, effectively promoting these offerings to partners.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional industry experience.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years in account management or client services, specifically within a creative production environment, studio, or media agency.
- Technical Proficiency: Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Outlook on both Mac and PC platforms.
- Leadership & Communication: Proven leadership capabilities, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to take initiative, remain self-motivated, and drive results assertively.
- Organization: Highly organized, detail-oriented multi-tasker capable of managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Interpersonal Skills: Proven ability to successfully navigate and de-escalate conflict within cross-functional teams.
