Product Development Specialist (Hybrid)

Compensation Range: $31 - 32 per hour

We are looking for a data-savvy creative collaborator to bridge the gap between vision and execution for a global retail leader!
 
Responsibilities:

  • Ensure styling standards for quality and design are clearly communicated and consistently understood by Agents and Vendors across the Hard Home/Stationery division.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with overseas agents, vendors, and cross-functional product teams.
  • Analyze weekly sales reports to identify consumer trends and support strategic assortment planning; responsible for pulling and presenting selling data to the internal team each Monday.
  • Conduct market and trend research to evaluate the competitive landscape and identify opportunities to elevate products in partnership with Design and Buying teams.
  • Collaborate with licensed and private brands to align product development with brand vision, ensuring the strongest brand product fit across assortments.
  • Organize and manage the review of all vendor samples, ensuring compliance with quality and brand standards while providing clear, actionable feedback on color accuracy, material quality, and branding/packaging.
  • Performs special projects as directed. 

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience in Product Development or Product Management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Merchandising, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel with strong analytical skills, including the ability to build and analyze pivot tables, apply formulas, and manipulate data effectively.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and Adobe Creative Suite.
