We are seeking a Senior QA Analyst to help shape the future of gaming for our client, a world-class streaming leader. We are looking for a deeply curious, relentless tester to challenge assumptions, advocate for the player experience, and collaborate closely with engineering, design, and product teams. As a Senior IC, you will elevate the overall quality culture by mentoring peers, sharing best practices, and driving continuous process improvement. 
 
Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute end-to-end test strategy across the full development lifecycle for platform tools.
  • Apply advanced testing techniques (e.g., risk-based, exploratory, stress/load, chaos) to uncover, isolate, and clearly communicate defects.
  • Embed with development teams to "shift left" by integrating testing early and continuously (e.g., design reviews, code reviews, testability reviews), accelerating feedback loops and preventing defects before they reach production.
  • Champion testing craft excellence within the team, mentoring teammates, sharing best practices, and raising the overall quality bar.
  • Improve process quality and lead root cause analysis for major escapes and live issues, driving actionable process and tooling improvements that prevent recurrence.
  • Use data to inform quality decisions, leveraging gameplay telemetry, crash/exception logs, performance metrics, and service health signals to surface issues and prioritize work.
  • Scale impact with test automation and AI-powered tools, using them to expand coverage, deepen insight, and accelerate feedback loops in CI/CD and live environments. 

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in hands-on QA / Quality Engineering roles.
  • Strong ability to use tools and data to debug complex issues, including logs, telemetry, profilers, packet captures, and platform diagnostics.
  • Experience with game engines and editors (e.g., Unreal Engine, Unity), including building and configuring test levels or scenarios.
  • Experience with non-functional testing tools (e.g., for load, stress, performance, and connectivity) and the ability to design meaningful scenarios for them.
  • Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software testing lifecycle (STLC), and how QA integrates into agile, continuous delivery, and live-ops environments.
  • Experience validating developer platforms, SDKs, middleware, or tools used by game teams, including API/SDK integration testing, backward compatibility, and upgrade paths.
  • Strong collaboration experience with platform, tools, or infrastructure teams to design quality gates in CI/CD, improve diagnosability, and ensure a high-quality developer experience.
