Apparel Graphics Production Artist (Hybrid)

Job Type: Contract
Compensation Range: $43 - 47 per hour

Are you a technical design expert with a passion for bringing cutting-edge apparel graphics to life? An industry-leading athletic brand is seeking a talented Production Artist to create flawless, production-ready files for highly visible branded and licensed basketball products. Step into a creative, hybrid role where sport, design, and culture meet, and help redefine graphics for athletes and fans worldwide!
 
Responsibilities:

• Work with Design to create and finalize graphic details in 2D and 3D across multiple levels of product, from on-athlete to retail.
• Participate in Production Art meetings and alignment, high-volume schematic creation and lay-down product page creation, creating documentation for downstream partners and reviewing strike-offs.
• Track and maintain updates on all appropriate files for accuracy through final approval.
• Learn new tools and advocate for efficiencies in the product creation life cycle. 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in graphic design or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of experience in a design and/or production environment.
• Proficient knowledge of Illustrator and Adobe Suite.
• Advanced knowledge of graphic applications such as ink types and trim substrates.
• Understanding of product lifecycle and key deliverables.
• Proven ability to support and lead peers in new tools and ways of working.
• Basic understanding of 3D apparel programs (CLO or Lotta).
• Understanding of Smartsheets, Airtable, and Miro is a plus.
• A love for sports is a bonus but a love for design is essential.
