JIRA Project Manager (Hybrid)

Location: Local to the Orlando, FL market only.
Schedule: On-site 4 days per week (Orlando office)

Compensation Range: $70 - 80 per hour

The DX Technology & Digital team manages the end-to-end digital and physical guest experience across Attractions, Resorts, Transportation, and Merchandise lines of business. We are seeking a Jira Project Manager and Delivery Analytics Consultant to support the Commerce organization as an embedded technical power user. Rather than focusing on backend system administration—which is handled by a centralized enterprise team—this role requires a balanced combination of project delivery experience, strong stakeholder communication, and advanced Jira data extraction and reporting capabilities.

In this position, you will act as a strategic delivery partner, translating raw execution data into actionable insights for project teams and leadership.

Responsibilities:

• Executive Reporting: Design, build, and maintain high-visibility delivery dashboards and timeline reports that aggregate data across multiple initiatives.
• Delivery Analytics: Analyze program metrics to answer critical delivery questions regarding team tracking, timeline risks, emerging trends, and cross-project dependency impacts.
• Data Translation: Convert raw project metrics into polished, decision-ready insights and status reports for senior leadership.
• Process Standardization: Coach project managers and cross-functional teams on standardized Jira configurations, ticket hygiene, and data consistency to ensure reporting accuracy.
• Cloud Optimization: Support the program's post-migration stabilization within a native Jira Cloud environment, maximizing the utilization of cloud-specific features.

Qualifications:
Technical & Analytical Skills

• Jira Cloud Proficiency: Direct experience configuring projects, workflows, custom fields, and dashboards within a native Jira Cloud environment.
• Advanced JQL: Complete fluency in writing complex Jira Query Language (JQL) queries to filter and pull data across multiple complex boards and programs.
• Atlassian Cloud AI (Rovo): Experience or immediate technical capability to leverage native Atlassian AI tools for automated reporting, risk identification, and dependency mapping.
• Confluence Management: Proficiency in Confluence site structure, page administration, and access control.

Project & Communication Skills

• Delivery Background: Proven experience in project management, program coordination, or Agile delivery methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Executive Presentation: Strong communication skills with the ability to confidently present analytical data, explain report logic, and articulate project direction to senior stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting teams through an on-premise to cloud infrastructure migration.
• Exposure to broader generative AI tools (e.g., Cursor, Amazon Q, Claude) applied directly to project management workflows and data analysis.
