We are seeking a Trend Research & Presentation Coordinator to serve as the creative and operational backbone of our trend department. In this role, you will lead comprehensive fashion research across delegated categories—leveraging trend services, retail analysis, and social platforms to identify high-growth concepts and product opportunities. You are responsible for translating raw data into inspiration by creating visual tools like mood boards, trend alerts, and seasonal books.

Beyond research, you will own the logistical execution of our quarterly seasonal presentations. This includes managing vast image libraries, coordinating large-scale printing, and overseeing the physical setup of presentation spaces and samples. If you are a visually-driven professional who balances creative trend-spotting with rigorous organizational skills, we want you to help us shape the future of our seasonal narratives.
 
Responsibilities:
RESEARCH/CREATION:

  • Manage research on categories delegated by Manager and assist in research on additional categories depending on team workload.
  • Research utilizing trend services (WGSN/DONEGAR/SNOOPS etc).
  • Analyze internal selling to identify new opportunities and conepts to maximize current performers.
  • Visit online retail searching for trend consistencies and imagery supporting consistencies.
  • Review and save brand marketing emails for trend/product call outs.
  • Research for features seasonal/ pop ups/ sustainability/ I&D/ packaging.
  • Create lists of trend call outs/consistencies and share with team.
  • Based on research come up with key callouts and updates per category.
  • Stay current on new content and trends - reading blogs, going on trend services, listening to podcasts and social media daily for research.
  • Research relevant influencers and collaborations.
  • Create visual tools to support trend research callouts- trend alerts, signage, mood boards, color/print/material boards etc.
  • Create retail lists for inspiration reference.

PREPARATION FOR SEASONAL PRESENTATION:

  • Save images for all categories by season, upload to Media Beacon.
  • Save trend books to media beacon for team access.
  • Organize all images and information to support aesthetics / consumer insights and direction for the designated category.
  • Buil quarterly trend book.
    - Label all images with Brand names for viewer reference.
    - Send all boards, images, signs and books to Alphagraphics to print.
    - Send accessories and apparel books to print with duplication and send to buying offices around the world.
    - Support set up responsibilities during in-office presentation space prep.
    - Present virtual and in office presentations.

DAILY / WEEKLY/ MONTHLY TASKS:

  • Assist in PD and buyer communication.
  • Assist in sending out links, docs etc.
  • Assist in scheduling Online/Stylespot presentations.
  • Assist in recordings and uploading recordings.
  • Assist in some presentations and meetings with buyers.
  • Share meaningful articles, trend reports, podcasts etc with team for possible merchant/pd roll out material.
  • Coordinate with the mailroom for charity bins and any needed assistance during tear down/set up.
  • Coordinate with team for help during tear down/set up time.
  • Communicate with PD teams to pull product and information for set up.
  • Contact maintenance for any needed help.
  • Move large gator board walls to any new configuration.
  • Move, dress and undress mannequins.
  • Put stands on gator boards/take them off as needed.
  • Put together/take down Elfa units.
  • Move new product into the space.
  • Keep backstage, presentation space, front room and closets clean and organized.
  • Help order fixtures and supplies for the Style Spot as needed.
  • Open packages and hang samples. 

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience.
  • Bachelors Degree.
