Our entertainment client is looking to hire an Advertising Sales Account Manager to support their small and medium businesses (SMBs).

As an Advertising Sales Account Manager, you are the bridge between their high-value SMB partners and their growth. This role is 80% account management and 20% sales. You aren't just answering questions; you are a strategic advisor helping businesses launch their campaigns, optimizing for ROI, and directly driving revenue growth. You will own the end-to-end journey from onboarding to identifying and closing new scale opportunities.

Responsibilities:
Strategic Onboarding: Dive deep into customer goals to design and execute tailored onboarding journeys that turn new sign-ups into power users.
Growth & Retention: Proactively manage a book of high-value SMB accounts, driving product adoption and customer satisfaction through data-backed engagement.
Performance Consulting: Act as a subject matter expert on Ads Manager, advising clients on creative best practices and campaign optimizations to ensure they see a real ROI.
Revenue Ownership: Move beyond "support" to "growth." You will fully own individual revenue targets by identifying opportunities to scale unmanaged advertisers.
Sales Pipeline Management: Maintain high operational standards in Salesforce, managing a consistent cadence of outreach (calls, emails, meetings) to move opportunities through the funnel.
Experienced: 2-5 years in digital advertising, media sales, or account management. You know how the ad ecosystem works.
Analytical & Strategic: You don't just see numbers; you see a story. You can troubleshoot a low-performing campaign and pivot the strategy on the fly.
A Natural Communicator: Whether it's a Zoom demo or a quick email check-in, you are persuasive, clear, and genuinely helpful.
Tech-Fluent: You're comfortable navigating CRM tools (Salesforce) and complex ad-tech platforms.
Educated: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, preferred and not required.
Strategic Account Management: Manage a book of high-value SMB accounts, acting as a strategic advisor to ensure long-term retention and platform adoption.
Revenue Ownership & Sales: Proactively identify opportunities to scale unmanaged advertisers. You will fully own individual revenue targets and sales pipelines.
Performance Consulting: Act as a subject matter expert, troubleshooting campaign performance and providing data-backed strategic pivots to maximize client ROI.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product, data, regulatory, ad ops, and marketing teams to improve the user experience and platform functionality.
Onboarding: Design and execute tailored onboarding journeys that turn new sign-ups into active, successful power users.
 
Qualifications:

  • Experience: 2-5 years in digital advertising, media sales, or account management. Background in the entertainment or media industry is ideal.
  • Sales Track Record: Proven ability to manage sales pipelines and hit revenue targets. Recent direct-to-client sales experience is required (not agency).
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to troubleshoot campaign performance and provide data-backed strategic pivots.
  • Technical Proficiency: Fluent in CRM tools (Salesforce) and ad-tech platforms.
  • Soft Skills: Persuasive communicator, strategic storyteller, and the ability to thrive on a fast-paced team.
