Packaging Graphic Designer

Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Job Type: Contract
Compensation Range: $30 - 34 per hour

We're looking for a Contract Packaging Graphic Designer to bring our products to life on the shelf. In this role, you'll design packaging that's bold, clear, and performance-driven, helping customers instantly understand what our products do and why they're the best.

You'll collaborate closely with product development, other designers, and marketing leadership to translate technical features into compelling, retail-ready packaging that stands out and conveys the brand message clearly.

This job will be on-site in our Atlanta offices, Monday-Friday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
 
Responsibilities:

• Design retail packaging blister cards, clamshells, boxes, labels, inserts.
• Develop packaging layouts that clearly communicate product benefits, specs, compatibility, and safety info.
• Maintain and evolve brand consistency across SKUs, product lines, and retailers.
• Prepare print-ready files , ensuring accuracy in dielines, bleeds, color profiles, and material specs.
• Collaborate with internal teams to interpret product requirements and regulatory constraints.
• Work with vendors and printers to review proofs and resolve production issues.
• Create packaging adaptations for different retailers, regions, and compliance needs.
• Occasionally support marketing assets related to packaging (sell sheets, product visuals, e-commerce images). 

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of graphic design experience, with a strong focus on packaging design.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
• Experience designing for physical retail environments.
• Strong understanding of print production, dielines, materials, and color management.
• Ability to simplify technical information into clean, consumer-friendly visuals.
• High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
