Compensation Range: $37 - 39 per hour
We are looking for a meticulous and motivated Marketing PIM & MAM Specialist to join our department. In this role, you will focus on the integrity and precision of marketing product data across both internal systems and external digital storefronts. The Specialist will oversee the lifecycle of product information across multiple platforms to guarantee a seamless, high-quality online journey for our customers. You will act as a central hub, collaborating with Marketing, IT, and Product Development to protect data quality and optimize the digital shopping environment.
Responsibilities:
Data Administration
- Asset Governance: Systematically aggregate, categorize, and update product specifications and digital media within the corporate PIM architecture.
- Brand Consistency: Verify that all product attributes, images, and brand identifiers remain uniform and current across all third-party distributor portals.
- Distributor Support: Facilitate the delivery of content to partners by populating their specific PIM tools or utilizing preferred data-sharing protocols.
- Information Gathering: Partner with Marketing and Product Managers to harvest and validate all essential data points required for product launches.
System Enhancement
- Platform Configuration: Customize PIM workflows, data schemas, and integration logic to align with evolving business requirements.
- Performance Monitoring: Proactively evaluate and upgrade system features to improve operational speed and data accessibility.
Quality Assurance
- Internal Audits: Perform routine data scrubs within the PIM to pinpoint and resolve discrepancies or missing values.
- External Monitoring: Regularly inspect distributor websites to confirm that our brand presence and product details meet company standards.
Cross-Departmental Synergy
- Channel Alignment: Interface with Sales, New Product Development (NPD), and Marketing to ensure product content is leveraged effectively across all sales channels.
- Knowledge Sharing: Act as the internal expert by providing PIM system training and documentation for staff.
Qualifications:
- Technical Expertise: Advanced experience with Salsify or comparable PIM software (e.g., Akeneo, inRiver).
- Software Literacy: High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the broader Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
- Analytical Mindset: Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to process complex data sets.
- Systems Integration: Prior exposure to ERP software and/or various e-commerce engines.
- Data Architecture: Understanding of product taxonomies and standardized data formats.
