Compensation Range: $29.12 - 34.12 per hour
We are seeking a Instructional Designer to translate complex change impacts into high-impact training and enablement materials. In this role, you will bridge the gap between organizational shifts and employee readiness, ensuring the successful adoption of new processes, tools, and ways of working. If you excel at turning technical changes into clear, actionable learning paths, we want you to help drive our team's success.
Hybrid Work Model - 4 days onsite and the manager is flexible on the remote day.
Preferred Work Location - Westlake, TX / Secondary Locations - Austin, TX and Lone Tree, CO.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with change managers to understand change impacts and learning needs.
- Design and develop training assets such as:
o Instructor led materials.
o Self paced learning content.
o Job aids, quick reference guides, and process walkthroughs. - Support training plans and learning timelines aligned to change milestones.
- Ensure training content aligns with change messaging and target behaviors.
- Participate in testing and refinement of training materials based on feedback.
- Support coordination with learning platforms or delivery partners as needed.
Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of experience in training development, instructional design, or learning support roles.
- Working knowledge of adult learning principles.
- Experience creating structured training content and job aids.
- Basic understanding of change management concepts and how training supports adoption.
- Robust organizational and documentation skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with e learning tools (e.g., Articulate, Captivate) or LMS platforms.
- Exposure to technology, process, or operating model changes.
