Senior Graphic Events Designer (Hybrid)

Compensation Range: $40 - 43 per hour

We are seeking a talented and motivated Senior Graphic Events Designer to join our client's high-performing creative team. In this role, you will be at the core of their design strategy, consulting with internal clients to cultivate strong relationships and deliver innovative, sophisticated event experiences for events.

As a conceptual thinker and expert communicator, you will collaborate with art directors and cross-disciplinary teams to execute design solutions that align with business objectives and event styles. From initial concepting to onsite execution, you will bring event visions to life across various platforms and media.

Location: This role is hybrid (rarely on-site) to Atlanta, Chicago, Cleveland, Dallas, Denver, Minneapolis, Philadelphia, Portland, St. Louis.

Responsibilities:

• Creative Strategy: Consult with stakeholders to develop creative briefs, storyboards, and layouts that communicate persuasive and inclusive design ideas.
• Design Execution: Conceptualize and execute visually compelling event deliverables, experiential designs, pitches, and presentations (static and interactive).
• Leadership & Mentorship: Lead ideation sessions and design sprints. Mentor junior creative team members, providing constructive feedback to implement the project vision.
• Project Management: Act as a project manager for assigned tasks, creating timelines and estimates that align with internal budgets and milestones.
• Client Relations: Navigate high-level design consultations with knowledge and insight, ensuring all solutions elevate the client experience. 

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related discipline (or equivalent work experience).
• Experience: 5+ years of related experience as a Senior Graphic Designer, preferably with a heavy focus on Event Design.
• Portfolio: A strong creative digital portfolio demonstrating outstanding conceptual thinking and advanced design skills.
• Technical Skills: * Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
• Expertise in Microsoft PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
• Advanced technical understanding of both digital media and print design (working with in-house teams and external vendors).
• Soft Skills: Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, matrixed agency environment. Strong diplomacy, active listening skills, and the ability to influence clients and colleagues.
