Freelance HTML5 Developer (Remote)

Location: 100% Remote
Job Type: Contract
Compensation: $55 - 65 per hour

We are looking for a Freelance HTML5 Developer to join a specialized team within our client's in-house agency. This isn't your typical "as-needed" gig; you will be the engine behind our client's Sales Program.
Roughly every 60 days, our client executes a 2-week intensive sprint where we build out digital and web assets. Project assignments during these windows of time may reach up to full-time hours, subject to content approval and production needs.

Cadence: Pre-planned Sales Programs, roughly every 60 days (typically consisting of a 2-week peak working hours at a time).

Availability: Must be available for up to full-time hours (40 hrs/week) during the designated 2-week sprint windows.

Equipment: Expectation is to use personal equipment, Cella Email and related software will be provided.

Predictability: While work is project-based, sprint dates are typically scheduled 5-6 weeks in advance to allow for your planning.
 
Responsibilities:

• Develop HTML5 digital display ads in a variety of sizes and other related assets as project approvals come in.
• Build scrolling banners and interactive elements that engage users without sacrificing performance.
• Execute robust, interactive email templates that look flawless across all major clients.
• Ensure all deliverables are SEO-optimized, lightning-fast, and fully compliant with WCAG accessibility standards.
• Work closely with our internal design team to translate brand guidelines into technical specifications. 

Qualifications:

• HTML5 & CSS/SASS: Expert-level semantic coding and sophisticated styling.
• JavaScript & jQuery: Strong proficiency in creating interactive, dynamic user experiences.
• Frameworks: Experience with modern front-end frameworks to streamline development.
• A deep understanding of SEO best practices, and cross-browser compatibility.
• A portfolio demonstrating success across diverse industries and high-traffic environments.
