Title: Digital Designer
Location: Remote, US Based (central timezone business hours)
Hours: up to 40 hours during a 2 week sprint, every 60 days
Duration: ongoing, freelance contract
Pay Range: $40-$48/hr W2
We are looking for a meticulous and efficient Freelance Digital Designer to join a specialized in-house agency team. This is a unique, recurring role designed for a pro who thrives in high volume environments.
You will join us for two-week sprints roughly every 60 days to execute a high-volume Sales Program. Your primary focus will be transforming approved concepts into a suite of polished digital and web assets, ensuring every deliverable is pixel-perfect and brand-compliant.
Project assignments during these windows of time may reach up to full-time hours, subject to content approval and production needs.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize high-level design, production, and illustration skills to build out digital and web-based collateral.
- Repurpose existing designs for new formats, media types, and digital channels.
- Revise and update existing deliverables based on stakeholder feedback during rapid proofing cycles.
- Produce final files that are 100% accurate and technically optimized for their specific publication platforms.
- Competently handle proprietary and restricted sales documents with the utmost discretion.
- Ensure all materials strictly adhere to global brand guidelines.
- Keep leadership informed on workload status to ensure the two-week sprint stays on schedule.
Qualifications:
- Expert-level proficiency in the industry standard toolkit:
- Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- Microsoft Office: Advanced layout/design skills within PowerPoint and Word.
- A practical understanding of image manipulation, retouching principles, and web asset optimization (sizing, compression, file types).
- Ability to interpret and implement client changes rapidly while meeting hard deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills to coordinate multiple tasks within a compressed timeframe.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; a collaborative attitude.
Experience & Education
- BA in Graphic Design or a related field from an accredited college (or equivalent professional experience).
- 3+ years of professional graphic design/production experience, preferably within an agency or high-volume in-house environment.
- A proven track record of delivering clean, accurate, and brand-consistent assets across digital and print.
Engagement Terms
- Cadence: Pre-planned Sales Programs, roughly every 60 days (typically consisting of a 2-week peak of working hours at a time).
- Availability: Must be available for up to full-time hours (40 hrs/week) during the designated 2-week sprint windows.
Equipment: Expectation is to use personal equipment, Cella Email and related software will be provided.
Predictability: While work is project-based, sprint dates are typically scheduled 5-6 weeks in advance to allow for your planning.
