A major cosmetics retailer is seeking a Mid-to-Senior level Freelance Mechanical Product Artist to join the team at One Soho Square for 35 hrs/week. • Properly place emboss patterns, foil stamping, and silk-screening details according to complex printing best practices.
  • Upload PDFs for proofing into Teamcenter and manage the flow of revisions from Regulatory, Marketing, and Editorial teams.
  • Work with layouts to ensure ingredient listings, weight claims, and OTC Drug Fact panels meet cosmetics industry labeling requirements for the US and Canada.
  • Release final art through Teamcenter, providing all necessary working files and links required for manufacturing once approvals are secured.
  • Partner with other team members on layouts and adapt quickly to last-minute changes or tight deadlines.

Qualifications:

  • Must have prior experience in the Beauty/Cosmetics industry with a specific focus on packaging mechanicals.
