Director of Sales - CPG

Compensation Range: $170,000 - 200,000 per year

Step into a high-visibility role leading the retail expansion for a highly successful, confidential personal care brand. This is your chance to take full ownership of a national sales P&L while coaching a dedicated, dynamic team of sales professionals. You will collaborate directly with executive leadership to shape market strategies, offering you the autonomy to build strategic buyer partnerships and drive meaningful, industry-leading growth.
 
Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team by setting clear targets and growth expectations.
• Own the comprehensive sales P&L across all retail accounts, including pricing, margins, and trade spend.
• Drive relationships with major retail accounts by directing key buyer meetings and category reviews.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing and supply chain teams to align forecasts and campaigns.
• Direct broker and distributor relationships to optimize retail shelf placement and market velocity. 

Qualifications:

• 7 to 10+ years of CPG retail sales experience with direct management of major national accounts.
• Proven success in optimizing account P&Ls, trade investments, and complex revenue forecasting.
• Demonstrated ability to develop sales teams while remaining actively engaged with key retail buyers.
• Ability to travel consistently for high-level account meetings and strategic business needs.
• Bonus Points: Experience successfully scaling a growing brand within the beauty or skincare sector.
