Compensation Range: $33.00 - $36.00 / hour
Cella is hiring a Junior Packaging Specialist to support the dynamic Accessories & Trend product categories for a top global retail client. You will help design and execute eye-catching packaging solutions, work directly with international vendors, and keep pace with the latest industry trends and sustainable packaging practices.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the design, layout, and creative development of packaging solutions tailored to Accessories & Trend categories.
- Reviewing and proofing packaging artwork, die-lines, structural callouts, and labeling for visual accuracy, compliance, and overall brand integrity.
- Partnering with cross-functional teams-including merchandising, product development, design, and vendor partners-to keep project workflows moving smoothly.
- Maintaining and organizing digital packaging assets, style guides, artwork files, and product specification documents.
- Communicating design updates and feedback directly to suppliers and overseas vendors to ensure high-quality sample production.
- Monitoring current packaging trends, materials, and sustainable practices to bring fresh, innovative ideas to seasonal collections.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Packaging Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- Experience: 1-3 years of hands-on packaging design or production experience, ideally within retail, consumer goods, or fashion accessories.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) and Microsoft Office. Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of packaging structures, die-lines, print production processes, and material specifications.
- Detail Orientation: High level of accuracy in typography, color matching, and packaging layout.
- Communication & Organization: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaborating across internal teams and external vendors, paired with strong multi-tasking abilities to meet concurrent project deadlines.
