You will design comprehensive, innovative coverage solutions that protect specialized professionals, blending regulatory strategy with dynamic market offerings. Responsibilities:
- Lead the strategy and multi-year roadmap for professional liability product lines, ensuring alignment with broad organizational goals.
- Translate market research, industry trends, and customer insights into actionable product developments and coverage enhancements.
- Manage the full lifecycle of policy forms and endorsements from concept through regulatory filing and launch.
- Partner with actuarial and underwriting teams to analyze loss ratios, monitor rate adequacy, and set competitive pricing.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing and operations to communicate product features and optimize targeted campaigns.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Risk Management, Insurance, or a closely related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in P&C insurance product management or underwriting, specifically within professional liability or malpractice lines.
- Active State Property & Casualty (P&C) license with a strong understanding of state insurance regulatory and rate filing processes.
- Proven analytical ability to translate complex actuarial data and market feedback into clear, profitable product decisions.
- Bonus Points: Master's degree, underwriting certifications (RPLU, CPCU, AU), or specialized experience in healthcare/allied health liability.
