Creative Graphics Project Manager

Compensation Range: $55 - 60 per hour

Overseeing the graphics production workflow from final design approval to fabrication transfer by January 31, 2027, this role serves as the key liaison between print vendors and production partners. The Graphics Producer handles file prep, enforces strict quality control, and guarantees all deliverables align with exhibition standards and target timelines. Position Location: Los Angeles, CA.

Responsibilities:

• Production Pipeline Oversight: Guide graphic assets seamlessly from design sign-off through final file delivery to the scenic fabricator or print facility.
• Technical Workflow & Specs: Oversee file preparation, color calibration, material/substrate selection, printing specs, and proof evaluation.
• Schedule & Asset Coordination: Align timelines across the design agency, scenic shop, and print vendors to guarantee all assets are fully prepared before the handoff date. 

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of professional experience in graphics production, art operations, or design implementation.
• Direct experience supervising large-format print suppliers, digital printing plants, screen printers, and specialty fabricators.
• Deep technical mastery of Adobe Creative Suite, pre-press setups, color profiles, and print-ready asset preparation.
• Background handling graphics for museums, large venues, or environmental spaces (wayfinding, branding, site-specific installations).
• Demonstrated success accelerating print timelines, managing urgent proof turnarounds, and resolving vendor challenges on the fly.
• Comprehensive knowledge of material options, wear-and-tear requirements, and installation logistics.
• Exceptional vendor management skills, including drafting technical briefs, auditing schedules, and processing scope changes.
• Sharp eye for quality control-capable of identifying proofing errors prior to run time and directing required updates.
