We our looking for a Creative Project Manager to support our client's in-house creative team. This role will serve as a pivotal operational lead, overseeing the end-to-end execution of complex creative, print, and interactive projects and/or campaigns. This high-impact role functions as the central bridge between clients and internal teams, ensuring operational excellence while combining creative fluency with operational rigor.
Candidates must demonstrate a deep understanding of how creative work is developed and the ability to orchestrate the process from strategy and concept development through production and delivery. The role requires accountability for budget management, resource allocation, and delivery against business objectives, along with deep expertise in creative project workflows and mastery of Adobe Workfront to drive system strategy, resource utilization, scalable process improvements, and project execution.
Workfront experience is required to be considered.
Responsibilities:
Operations & Workfront Strategy
- System Leadership: Partner with Creative Operations leadership as the Creative Studio's Adobe Workfront subject matter expert: advocate for platform adoption, drive workflow automation, build custom templates, and design advanced reporting dashboards.
- Process Optimization: Champion the team-wide adoption of standardized processes. Lead training and onboarding for creative personnel and external partners on Workfront best practices, including time tracking and compliance.
- Traffic Management: Oversee daily project traffic and real-time schedule updates, ensuring alignment across all active initiatives.
Project & Client Leadership
- Strategic Partner:
- Act as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders.
- Translate project requirements (and on occasion into actionable creative briefs) and lead the interpretation of feedback to ensure alignment between client vision and creative execution.
- End-to-End Execution:
- Manage project lifecycles from scope to delivery.
- Oversee timelines, asset requests, and cross-channel deliverables (print, digital, interactive).
- Relationship & Quality Management:
- Maintain strong client relationships while upholding brand standards, and legal and regulatory compliance.
- Proactively troubleshoot risks, re-scope projects as necessary, and ensure all feedback is documented and addressed in a timely manner.
- Resource & Vendor Coordination:
- Identify and coordinate third-party staffing needs in partnership with management.
Financial Stewardship
- Fiscal Oversight:
- Manage project budgets, track team hours, and monitor expenses to ensure financial accuracy.
- Reporting:
- Prepare SOWs, estimates, and status reports with guidance of management. Provide regular pipeline health updates to management, including risks and resource requirements.
- Documentation:
- Maintain rigorous standards for project documentation, file organization, and final asset archiving.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of dedicated project management experience within a creative agency, production studio, or in-house agency environment.
- 3+ years of advanced, hands-on experience administering and managing projects within Adobe Workfront (certification preferred).
- Deep understanding of print, digital, and interactive creative production workflows.
- Experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare advertising (including regulatory/MLR review processes) is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
Skills & Competencies:
- Technical Mastery: Advanced command of Adobe Workfront (mandatory) and proficiency in MS Office 365 and Adobe Acrobat. Google platform familiarity is a plus.
- Strategic Communication: Exceptional ability to translate technical requirements for high-level executives, clients, and cross-functional teams, with proven experience navigating complex client dynamics. (written and verbal).
- Problem Solving: Strategic thinker capable of prioritizing high-volume, deadline-driven deliverables with minimal supervision.
- Financial & Organizational Acumen: Strong ability to estimate efforts, manage complex budgets, and maintain extreme detail orientation across multiple concurrent deliverables.
