Lead Footwear Merchant (Hybrid)

Compensation Range: $37 - 38 per hour

We are seeking a Lead Merchant to drive the growth and franchise management of our Men’s Sportswear Running assortments across North America. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for scaling iconic franchises and identifying new market opportunities to expand our footwear footprint. Reporting to the Merchandising Director, you will act as the strategic bridge between regional execution and global vision.

You will collaborate closely with the Global Sportswear Merchandising team and cross-functional partners to curate a compelling product mix that resonates with the North American consumer. If you are a market-savvy leader with a deep passion for sneaker culture and a proven ability to manage complex product lifecycles while hitting growth targets, we want you to lead the charge for our Sportswear Running business.

Responsibilities:

  • The detailed management, maintenance and communication of all seasonal tools and assortments.
  • The development of key relationships among cross-functional teammates, comfort with research and analysis, along with a genuine curiosity and commitment to learn and evolve.
  • Franchise management against some of the biggest Footwear styles in the company.
  • This role is considered high-visibility, and this candidate will be asked to represent our top footwear franchises across many levels of the organization. 

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Merchandising Data Analysis, Retail, or Product Management.
  • Ability to balance qualitative and quantitative data (art and science) to project trends and identify product opportunities.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the Sportswear Footwear consumer and marketplace.
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication and influencing skills, entrepreneurial spirit, accountability, team-first mentality, and cultural awareness.
  • Required Technology & Tools: Experience with seasonal merchandising tools and data analysis tools.
