Principal Proposal Manager

Location: Duluth, Georgia

Compensation Range: $110,000 - 130,000 per year

Step into a dynamic, high-visibility role where you will lead the narrative and win strategy for complex, high-value bids within the infrastructure technology sector. You will have extensive latitude to shape compelling proposals and drive business growth for an industry-leading brand. This is your chance to own the end-to-end proposal lifecycle, mentor a talented team, and establish continuous improvement processes that directly impact the organization's success.
 
Responsibilities:

• Lead the development, submission, and review of complex, high-value sales proposals, including RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with legal, product, and sales to develop competitive win themes and differentiate the brand.
• Own the entire proposal lifecycle from initial receipt through delivery, ensuring strict compliance and quality control.
• Facilitate red and gold team reviews while driving ongoing communication around strategy, milestones, and deadlines.
• Manage the approved content database and implement continuous improvements to proposal tools and automation.
• Mentor proposal team members and lead presentation coordination for crucial business pursuits.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of relevant experience leading cross-functional proposal teams on complex, high-value bids.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree (or international equivalent) in a relevant field.Expert-level proposal writing, editing, storytelling, and executive-level communication skills.
• Proven ability to drive strategic thinking, risk analysis, and cross-functional leadership without direct authority.Bonus Points: APMP/PMP certification.
