Program Manager New Product Development (Hybrid)

Location: Hybrid - Huntersville, NC or Atlanta, GA
Position Type: Full-Time, W2 Contract (Opportunity for permanent conversion)
Compensation Range: $35.00 - $42.80 / hour (maximum)

Cella is seeking a Program Manager to join a high-impact Program Management Office (PMO) supporting industry-leading product lines. In this role, you will guide global, cross-functional teams through the stage-gate process to commercialize and launch high-visibility product solutions.
 
Responsibilities:

• Independently lead New Product Development (NPD) projects of varying complexity from concept to commercial launch.
• Lead project planning sessions to build standardized timelines (networks) and manage schedules in MS Project with a focus on critical paths.
• Partner closely with Brand Marketing and R&D teams to define project design and scope.
• Deliver on core PMO KPIs, including project timing, cost, quality, and budget.
• Facilitate formal weekly cross-functional meetings, ensuring clear communication and driving accountability across team members and leadership.
• Identify, monitor, and create proactive risk mitigation strategies, presenting progress reports to leadership.
• Conduct post-launch audit evaluations to recommend continuous improvement practices for future project execution.
• Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with stage-gate development standards.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience: 3-5 years of relevant work experience in new product development and project leadership roles.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with project management tools including Microsoft Project, Project Online, and SharePoint; familiarity with basic manufacturing processes and production planning.
• Methodologies: Strong expertise in structured project management methodologies (e.g., critical path analysis); stage-gate development process experience preferred.
• Certifications: PMP certification is preferred.
• Soft Skills: Logical and creative problem-solving abilities, excellent cross-functional collaboration, and highly effective organizational skills.
