Regulatory Labeling Specialist

Location: Salt Lake City, UT (100% Onsite)
Schedule: 40 hours/week, Mon-Fri
Duration: 6 Months (Contract) - potential to extend or convert to permanent based on business needs and performance
Compensation Range: $40.00 - $42.00/hr

We are seeking a detail-oriented Labeling and Documentation Specialist to support the development, maintenance, and implementation of regulatory-compliant labeling and technical documentation. This role will work closely with R&D, Quality, and Operations teams to ensure labeling accuracy, efficient change management, and compliance throughout the product lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, experience with specialized labeling and layout software, and the ability to troubleshoot industrial printing and barcode equipment. The role will also be responsible for auditing technical documentation and digital records within PLM systems, helping prevent documentation errors and ensuring adherence to regulatory and quality standards.
 
Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain regulatory-compliant labeling assets using specialized labeling software and layout tools to ensure 100% accuracy.
• Partner with cross-functional R&D, Quality, and Operations teams to execute change orders and streamline document approval workflows.
• Operate and troubleshoot onsite industrial label printers and barcode equipment to facilitate seamless production rollout.
• Audit technical documentation and digital records in PLM systems to prevent documentation escapes and maintain strict compliance standards. 

Qualifications:

• Proven experience with change control processes and label design within the medical device industry.
• Technical proficiency with label creation software (e.g., Prisym, BarTender, NiceLabel) and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent hands-on experience in labeling design and technical documentation management.
• Proficient in using label printers (Zebra specifically is a bonus), CAD/SolidWorks software, and document management systems.
