Digital Project Manager - TikTok Shop (Hybrid)

Location: Bolingbrook, Illinois
Contract Duration: 6-month W2 contract
Compensation Range: $40.00 - $50.00/hr (max)

Are you passionate about social media, live shopping, and the creator economy? Cella is seeking a high-energy Digital Project Manager to lead go-to-market (GTM) execution for our beauty & retail client, supporting the function of an innovative social commerce channel: TikTok Shop. In this dynamic role, you will drive high-profile GTM calendars, execute massive live-stream brand activations featuring top-tier creators and celebrities, and coordinate high-visibility tentpole events.

Work Location & Schedule: Hybrid - Bolingbrook, IL (Onsite requirement: 6 days per month).
 
Responsibilities:

• Go-to-Market & Live Event Execution: Own and manage the GTM calendar for brand activations, product launches, and campaigns. Lead the execution of major live events, IRL activations, sampling logistics, and celebrity/influencer-driven TikTok LIVEs in collaboration with internal media, ops, and marketing teams.
• Cross-Functional Event Amplification: Partner with store eventing and corporate event teams to identify and amplify key moments on TikTok Shop; develop tentpole event amplification strategies alongside senior leadership.
• Program Operations & Tracking: Organize cross-functional meeting agendas, action items, and follow-ups. Build new process roadmaps and SOPs, manage the channel inbox, track hero products/SKPPs, and maintain team expense tracking for activations.
• Reporting & Communications: Own month-end ORM reporting, draft monthly GTM newsletters across Merchandising, Digital, and Marketing teams, and maintain a prioritized backlog tracker for channel enhancements.
• Tech & Product Collaboration: Serve as the point of contact for IT and product teams to map out business requirements, sizing, and channel optimization.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 3-5+ years of experience in Merchandising, Buying, Category Management, or Digital Project Management in a fast-paced retail or e-commerce setting.
• Platform Expertise: Deep passion for social media, live streaming, and the evolving creator economy.
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional organizational and cross-functional collaboration skills with a proven track record of managing moving parts in ambiguous, high-growth environments.
• Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical work experience preferred.
