Video Editor and Production Specialist (Hybrid)

Location: Dalton, GA / Greater Chattanooga Area (Hybrid - Onsite for shoots, Remote for editing)
Job Type: Contract (3-6 Months initial, with strong potential for extension)
Schedule: Up to 40 Hours/Week (Flexible schedule, typically averaging 25-40 hrs/week

We are seeking a Hybrid Video Editor & Production Specialist to join an active digital media production team. In this role, you will serve as an embedded creator working alongside an internal producer to capture and produce engaging commercial, brand, and corporate video content.

This position offers a balanced hybrid workflow: you'll be on location at the studio in Dalton, GA (and local surrounding regional sites like Cartersville, GA) for production shoots, and have full remote flexibility to edit from home. All professional production gear (cameras, tripods, lighting, and audio equipment) is fully provided.
 
Responsibilities:

• On-Set Production Support: Collaborate on corporate and brand shoots across Dalton and the local region. Handle basic camera operation, tripod setups, 3-point lighting, and audio capture alongside a producer.
• Post-Production Editing: Assemble raw footage into clean cuts, fine edits, and polished video deliverables. Work within Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve based on your editing workflow preference.
• Motion Graphics & Color/Audio Polish: Elevate edits using Adobe After Effects for motion titles and basic graphics. As you ramp up, take ownership of color grading, audio mixing, and final asset packaging.
• Asset Organization: Maintain project files, organize shoot media, and deliver final formatted cuts across commercial web and digital channels.

 
Qualifications:

• Hands-on Production & Editing Experience: Proven track record in both video shooting (lighting, audio, camera setup) and post-production editing.
• Editing Software Proficiency: Strong command of Adobe Premiere Pro OR DaVinci Resolve. Familiarity with Adobe After Effects for motion graphics and titles is a strong plus.
• Commercial Portfolio / Video Reel: A reel showcasing commercial, brand, corporate, or business-oriented content. We welcome diverse stylistic backgrounds, provided your core craft in editing, motion design, and storytelling is sharp!
• Location & Flexibility: Located within reasonable driving distance of Dalton, GA / Chattanooga, TN for shoot days, with the ability to edit remotely during post-production phases.
