Part-Time Creative Marketing Assistant (Hybrid)

An established, Japanese-owned company in the automotive tool manufacturing industry is seeking a hands-on, multi-talented Creative Marketing Assistant to serve as the organization's first foundational marketing hire. Reporting directly to leadership, you will have complete ownership to spearhead, design, and execute the company's digital footprint, brand presence, and multi-channel content strategy from the ground up.

Responsibilities:

• Digital Footprint & Channel Management: Build, launch, and actively manage the company's full digital presence, with an immediate priority on establishing a professional brand presence on LinkedIn and driving daily engagement.
• Video & Visual Content Creation: Shoot, edit, and produce engaging digital content including technical "how-to" product videos and promotional clips for the corporate website, YouTube, and social channels.
• Newsletter & Collateral Design: Transform existing flyers, technical specs, and corporate assets into polished digital newsletters using Adobe InDesign and AI productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot).
• Product Catalog Maintenance: Assist with updates, design tweaks, and layout modifications for the master product catalog and key sales documentation.
• AI Tool Integration & Strategy: Research, recommend, and leverage modern AI tools to streamline content repurposing, translation workflows, and overall marketing efficiency.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner directly with external web designers and internal stakeholders to ensure consistent brand messaging across all touchpoints. 

Qualifications:

• Core Technical Stack: Strong graphic design and video editing skills; proficiency with Adobe InDesign is required.
• Hands-On Independence: Ability to take full ownership of the marketing function in an agile, start-up style environment.
• Equipment Requirement: Must have a personal Windows/PC setup capable of running design and editing software.
• Location/Schedule: Ability to work in-person at the Cool Springs/Franklin office for initial onboarding and collaboration, transitioning to a flexible hybrid arrangement.
• Industry/Language Plus (Nice-to-Have): Familiarity with the Japanese automotive manufacturing market, Japanese language proficiency, or comfort using AI translation tools is a major plus.
