Are you ready to elevate your editorial expertise into a strategic driver of broad societal change? We are seeking a consultative Copy Editor to partner with high-visibility thought leaders, refine complex narratives, and elevate content standards across all channels. In this pivotal role, you will champion editorial excellence while integrating modern tools to amplify story impact.
Responsibilities:
- Refine complex policy, philanthropic, and strategic narratives into clear, high-impact storytelling to elevate brand reputation across omnichannel platforms.
- Develop and enforce comprehensive organization-wide style guidelines to maintain consistency, voice integrity, and superior writing standards.
- Optimize end-to-end editorial workflows and integrate modern content technologies, including AI tools, to increase editorial efficiency and output quality.
- Collaborate consultatively with internal stakeholders and authors, offering strategic editorial coaching to build trust and elevate messaging precision.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of progressive copy editing and content refinement experience in a dynamic journalism, agency, or corporate publishing environment.
- Deep expertise in style guide development, brand voice alignment, and distilling complex strategic concepts into audience-specific content.
- Proven track record of managing end-to-end content workflows and successfully coaching content creators in a highly collaborative setting.
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, or English, paired with proficiency in modern editing tech and AI-assisted content tools.
