Marketing Coordinator

New York, NY | Job #1344549

Location: New York, New York
Job Type: Contract
Compensation Range: $30 - 36 per hour

As a Marketing Coordinator, you will provide critical support to a notable entertainment company's Brand & Growth Marketing and Channels & Partnerships divisions. This entry-level role is tailored for an adaptable, detail-oriented communicator who maintains a proactive, positive mindset in a fast-paced environment.

In this position, you will collaborate across diverse internal teams, manage creative assets and project schedules, gain high-level exposure to key industry functions (paid media, strategic partnerships, media operations, account management), and receive specialized training while assisting parallel groups as needed. This role offers strong long-term career growth potential within a major entertainment brand.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary operational liaison between cross-functional internal units (creative, marketing, production, operations) and external stakeholders (agencies, distributors).
  • Deliver polished, articulate written and verbal communications tailored appropriately for internal leadership and outside partners.
  • Oversee project roadmaps and campaign milestones to ensure on-time delivery and transparent updates.
  • Gather, manage, and traffic all creative components and deliverables required for marketing campaigns, partner pitches, and distribution.
  • Keep Airtable and related project tracking systems accurate and up to date.
  • Track evolving project scopes and timelines, proactively identifying potential bottlenecks or schedule conflicts for management.
  • Archive campaign materials and documentation, establishing organized, accessible record-keeping systems.
  • Approach shifting business priorities, new workflows, and special requests with flexibility and a solution-oriented attitude.

Paid Media Focus (Brand & Growth Marketing Team)

  • If assigned to Paid Media:
    • Partner with external media agencies and internal teams to facilitate paid campaign launches.
    • Collect and distribute creative assets (digital display, video, social content) to media agency partners.
    • Assist with the execution of approved media strategies, ensuring all prerequisites are delivered on schedule.
    • Continuously update central databases to support seamless, error-free launches.
    • Manage real-time plan revisions-such as asset swaps or adjusted flight dates-while keeping all stakeholders aligned.

Partnerships Focus (FAST Channels & Partnerships Team)

  • If assigned to FAST Channels & Partnerships:
    • Direct the collection and delivery of collateral and presentation decks for external partners (including FAST channel operators and content licensees).
    • Send outward-facing communication directly to external partners with a focus on accuracy and brand alignment.
    • Assist operations and account management teams by managing partner requests, delivery schedules, and follow-ups.
    • Maintain comprehensive partner records in Airtable to offer clear status visibility across the team.
    • Apply sound professional judgment regarding when to independently resolve issues versus when to escalate to senior team members.

Qualifications:

  • 0-2 years of relevant experience across marketing, media, partnerships, project management, or operations (internships and part-time roles included).
  • Must be able to commute to New York 1x a week and eventually 3 times a week.
  • Excellent communication capabilities: clear and professional written skills alongside confident verbal articulation.
  • Proven ability to multitask, prioritize competing deadlines, and maintain close attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, and digital project management software.
  • Demonstrated history of task coordination, transferable from corporate setups, campus leadership, volunteer initiatives, or service-industry scheduling.
  • High standard of precision across all documentation, correspondence, and project tracking tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Airtable or comparable workflow management platforms.
  • Previous internship experience within entertainment, media, marketing, or agency environments.
  • Background working directly alongside external vendors, clients, or agency partners.
