Retail Sourcing Specialist (Hybrid)

Location: Framingham, MA (Hybrid Schedule Required)
Duration: Full-Time W2 Contract (30-40 hours/week; potential for extension or conversion based on business needs and performance)
Compensation Range: $30.00 - $40.00 / hour

Accelerate your career in global retail supply chain management with a major industry leader! Cella is seeking a detail-driven Sourcing Specialist - in this dynamic position, you will work directly alongside the Sourcing Manager for direct import private label soft home goods, serving as a critical bridge between overseas vendors, product development teams, and internal merchants to drive optimal pricing, quality, and on-time delivery.
 
Responsibilities:

• Strategic Collaboration & Negotiation: Assist the Sourcing Manager in developing negotiation strategies to secure maximum product margins while maintaining high quality standards.
• Vendor & Stakeholder Communication: Maintain daily, clear communication across overseas offices, agents, suppliers, and internal merchant/product development partners.
• Data Management & Analytics: Conduct heavy data analysis in Microsoft Excel using advanced formulas, math functions, and pivot tables to track costs and capacity.
• Production Tracking & Timelines: Manage weekly production schedules to identify delivery risks, evaluate factory capacity and lead times, and keep teams aligned with time-and-action calendars.
• Vendor Compliance: Assist in vetting and onboarding new vendors to ensure complete adherence to strict corporate compliance standards.
• Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner with Design, Product Development, and Sourcing leaders for functional guidance and execute special projects as assigned. 

Qualifications:

• Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree (or equivalent practical experience) with prior background in Retail, Production, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing.
• Technical Mastery: High proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required (must be comfortable creating advanced formulas, math models, and pivot tables).
• Core Skills: Exceptional negotiation tactics, strong quantitative/mathematical aptitude, and excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Operational Drive: Highly organized and detail-oriented with a proven capacity to handle multi-project complexity and remain nimble in a fast-paced environment.
