  • Drive Rhythm of Business (RoB), including leadership team meetings, agendas, follow-ups, and action tracking.
  • Partner across Product Marketing, Engineering, Finance, and Field to ensure alignment and forward momentum.
  • Step in to advance work independently (e.g., synthesize rough inputs, create first drafts, unblock teams, and drive next steps).
  • Identify gaps, risks, and dependencies, and proactively bring solutions.
  • Context: Business management roles act as trusted advisors driving strategy, operations, and execution alignment across the organization.

2. Internal & External Communications

  • Lead and execute internal communications strategy:
  • Drive awareness and adoption of key initiatives (e.g., Azure Accelerate for Databases).
  • Create and manage internal narratives across channels (emails, updates, leadership comms, field alerts).

  • Support execution of planning cycles, including quarterly priorities and tracking against goals.
  • Ensure adherence to team processes, governance, and compliance requirements.

4. Execution at Speed

  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner with Product Marketing, Engineering, Finance, and Field teams to maintain organizational momentum and ensure unified progress toward core OKRs and reporting milestones.
  • Strategic Execution: Independently advance critical initiatives. Convert high-level discussions or rough notes into structured frameworks, author initial drafts, resolve project bottlenecks, and proactively mitigate risks.

5. Strategic Communications

  • Internal Storytelling: Craft and execute an internal communications roadmap to drive awareness and adoption of major programs (e.g., Azure Accelerate for Databases). Write organizational announcements, newsletters, and leadership updates.
  • External Brand Amplification: Develop high-impact social media content, LinkedIn posts, and executive messaging. Oversee blog promotion strategies and curate a cohesive editorial calendar tied to core business goals.
