We are looking for a UX Research and Product Insights professional to drive user-centered product improvements through surveys, data analysis, and qualitative research. The role involves partnering with designers, product owners, business analysts, and IT teams to uncover user needs, identify experience gaps, and translate insights into actionable product and UX recommendations.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with product designers, business analysts, IT partners, and product owners to understand technical requirements and business rules for products at a detailed level, analyzing and documenting existing user experiences.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute product surveys to measure user satisfaction, keeping internal stakeholders informed of progress and managing deadlines.
- Use quantitative analysis and statistics to analyze, document, and communicate user satisfaction as reported in product surveys.
- Use quantitative analysis and statistics to mine google analytics, customer support cases, and other product data collected by IT and product teams for behavioral and attitudinal insights to inform research and design.
- Perform qualitative analysis and topic modeling using manual and AI-assisted approaches to uncover key insights related to user needs and user experience gaps along key product touchpoints.
- Clearly communicate research insights and problem statements to UX designers and product owners, drawing on in-depth knowledge of the UX design process.
- Although this role is focused on the execution of surveys and data analysis, this individual may also contribute to the execution of remote user interviews and user tests as needed and will have exposure to Services UX user testing processes.
- Contribute to strategy discussions regarding ongoing efforts to better integrate research throughout the product development cycle through technological innovation and improved cross-team collaboration.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Design, Human Centered Interaction (HCI), Computer Science or related discipline preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience working as a UX researcher or general UX practitioner largely focused on research.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including demonstrated ability to translate research insights to business leads.
- Proactive mentality, being sure to ask questions early and often, and enthusiasm for collaboration.
- Experience using research tools including Excel, Google Analytics, digital survey tools, remote user-testing tools, and a passion for exploring new technologies is required.
