Compensation Range: $35-37/hr
Join a global leader in athletic footwear and apparel to drive the functional excellence and readiness of innovative running materials. You will bridge the gap between high-level design intent and manufacturing capabilities to deliver high-performance, sustainable product solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to influence seasonal direction and shape the footwear that serves elite athletes and consumers worldwide.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the material creation process for assigned footwear lines to ensure on-time delivery across all critical seasonal milestones.
- Implement sustainable material solutions and costing frameworks to meet corporate eco-friendly targets and profitability goals.
- Partner with product creation, design, and manufacturing vendors to align development processes with technical production capabilities.
- Oversee the testing and commercialization readiness of materials to guarantee uncompromised performance and physical shelf excellence.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in materials or product creation processes, specifically within the footwear or apparel industries.
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) with a solid understanding of material manufacturing and production workflows.
- Documented portfolio of managing complex project timelines and executing seasonal product palettes from concept to factory floor.
- Collaborative spirit with excellent communication skills, a self-starter mindset, and a Bachelor's degree in Materials, Chemistry, or Engineering.
