Experiential Project Manager - Commercial Design

Compensation Range: $50 - 55 per hour

Our Chicago-based leading client in construction and manufacturing is recruiting a veteran Senior Project Manager with an Experiential and Commercial Design background for a dynamic role in Chicago. This position requires an adaptable professional who can easily juggle multiple responsibilities while connecting clients, vendors, and internal creatives.

The ideal candidate possesses strong technical skills in enterprise tracking and financial management, combined with a calm, proactive approach to shifting priorities.
 
Responsibilities:

• End-to-End Execution: Lead complex design projects by meticulously managing schedules, stakeholder communications, and final deliverables.
• System & PO Management: Run daily project operations in Workfront, coordinate vendor logistics, and track purchase orders accurately.
• Meeting Alignment: Distill fast-paced creative and client discussions into organized, polished, and actionable summaries.
• Strategic Communication: Maintain high-touch transparency with leadership and internal teams, ensuring next steps are anticipated and executed smoothly. 

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Seasoned Experiential/Commercial PM Experience: Proven background managing complex physical space, experiential, or commercial design projects while juggling multiple stakeholders (clients, vendors, and creative teams).
• Technical Mastery: Highly proficient in Workfront, logistics/vendor management, and financial PO management.
• High-Value Soft Skills & Agility: Exceptionally organized with elite note-taking skills (turning chaotic calls into client-facing, actionable summaries). Possesses a calm, proactive, and highly adaptable personality-able to pivot, communicative with leadership, and polished for client interaction.
