Our client in the software development industry is seeking a contractor to provide flexible operational support across our Customer Advocacy program. This role blends day-to-day program coordination with critical data management responsibilities, including file migrations, audits, and cleanup. It's a great fit for someone who is equally comfortable with content workflows and the behind-the-scenes data hygiene that keeps advocacy programs running at scale.
Responsibilities:

- Content & Asset Coordination: Support the workflow for customer success stories and other advocacy assets from initiation through publication. Coordinate across internal teams to keep projects moving.
- Speaker & Event Support: Assist with speaker list management, outreach coordination, and logistics support for events.
- File & Data Migration: Support the migration of advocacy-related files, records, and assets across platforms and systems. Document migration workflows and flag data quality issues.
- Database & Program Audits: Conduct regular audits of the reference database and advocacy program records to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with program standards. Identify and resolve duplicate, outdated, or missing records.
- Process Documentation: Help document and maintain standard operating procedures for both program and data management activities.
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Experienced with Customer Advocacy: Proven track record juggling customer story workflows, sourcing advocates, and managing 1:1 reference request pipelines.
- ReferenceEdge Mastery (or similar CRM database management): Highly preferred experience mapping advocates to open sales needs natively in ReferenceEdge, cleaning attributes, and optimizing database health.
- Project Coordination & Data Hygiene: Written communication for cross-stakeholder asset workflows combined with sharp spreadsheet proficiency (Excel/Google Sheets) to handle migrations and record audits.
Soft Skills:
- Comfort with extensive data quality work, patience, process-oriented, and capable of driving multi-stakeholder follow-ups independently.

- Salesforce CRM, Spreadsheet Trackers (Google Sheets / Excel), ReferenceEdge (highly preferred/targeted).
Nice to haves:
- Basic understanding of PR or media relations processes; familiarity with tech industry terminology (MDM, AI, data governance); Salesforce reporting & dashboards.
